What I've always wanted...

Postby toprob » Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:08 am

...a SOLID GOLD R22!

What a treat, and I actually managed to land on my first attempt -- which I could not do in any MSFS. So either it is more realistic, or less, I'm not sure and I don't really care, as long as I can cruise around the capital and blind the folks with my golden magnificence!

Ayeeee! Here's me not at a simputer, and you have everything!
An R22, Wellington... I have NOTHING!
Grrr, I want it all.

The R22 has two flight modes.
Both use the same authentic flight model, but the "easy" one has augmented controls.
All aircraft should work this way, especially inherently unstable ones.

Actually, my 'have it all' attitude is just a front today, I'm having a mental health day, while I recompile the Chch aerials, so I have Lana Wolf playing loud on Spotify, and casting YouTube flightsim videos to the big screen. If I had any beer, I'd probably be getting a buzz on by now.

Been watching the FS Dreamteam PBR-textured O'Hare video, mainly, feeling like the future had passed me by... it certainly answers the question 'does PBR really do anything worth having?'
