Goodbye ZK-OJA (for now)

Postby Splitpin » Sun Mar 03, 2019 7:59 pm

Air New Zealand's first A-320 departed NZCH yesterday for somewhere in Australia to be painted in generic white while waiting for a new owner.
She may return to go into storage here, but this is the last time you will see her in these colors.

Oscar Juliet Alpha started life with ANZ back in 2003 , and her first job was NZ103/104 ...AKL/SYD/AKL, normally done by a widebody ....anyway, her time has come, and she departed as NZ6001.

A couple of her sisters have already left the fleet, but I think these pics are special as she was the first to arrive here.

May not mean much to many, but I thought it was worth a mention.

Thanks Chris for the photos and history
