Any war thunder gurus out there ?

It may just be my computer ...but I cant see why. When I try to load up war thunder, I get a black screen with the words "loading not responding" I've tried opening it from the base file, but the same BS.
I've got hundreds of dollars invested in this thing and I'm really pissed that I can't get any clear direction ...even from their forum.
I have solved the problems with P3D 3and 4 , but still working on AFS2 ....odd that all my sims went tits up at the same time

I'm not running war thunder on steam.

First suspect is a Win10 update, but they usually happen early in the month.
Try removing and reseating your RAM cards. Clean the contacts with a school eraser.
If you have a spare graphics card, swap that in to test that as a cause.
If you got AFS2 via Steam, they have a File Verification thing which will check your installation and set things to rights, as needed. Don't know about other sims, but something seems to have had a global effect.

Updated virus software maybe? Are you running CCleaner Marty? If not, get that and run a registry scan and clean.

Thanks, Nick, and sorry for the delay. I don't have CC .... I just haven't had time to look at too much this week.
It could be a registry problem ... and/or a firewall issue, but whatever it is ... it is, it's REALLY starting to piss me off big time.

Have you tried a system restore SP? Back to before the last Windows update maybe or at least when your system was last stable?

Had a minor breakthrough today ... but overall it's SNAFU
