Back to DCS!

Postby Adamski » Sat Feb 29, 2020 12:27 am

It's been AGES since I fired up DCS ... so had to do a mega update before I could fire it up to discover I'd totally forgotten all the keyboard commands.

Inspired by Splitpin's Spitfire shot(s), there really was no contest as to which aircraft I'd try to write off first. Amazingly, I actually managed a successful take-off in the Spit after having only wrecked three. This is progress!!!

The DCS Spitfire has to be the best looking one out there ... *and* you get to shoot stuff! :ph43r:

Shoot things: It's what it does!
Your comment on the keyboard commands reminds me why I never got into this sim.
Just too lazy to (re)learn all that stuff.
Maybe VR?
It deserves some attention, DCS looks great as do your shots.

It was the shonky, totally unintuitive GUI that always defeated me!

Sadly I cant run DCS anymore :( my system is now below the minimum requirements ....it loads , I get to the cockpit and it just sits there. It might be that the old GTX750 just cant cut it anymore ...not sure where to go from here.
