Who's Staying Home

Google has the data.
NZ habit change is quite dramatic.
Interesting to delve into faraway places, too.

Very interesting Charl, good old Google. That spending drop (NZ) is a little scary, right on the edge of an economic stall if not already. I hope we have paid for our new Hercs :ph43r: Although if we haven't, we might get them for a song , if the US doesn't implode first.

We're all in the same boat, I am hoping.

Who is staying home not my bloody neighbors they have had another family move in with them a couple of days ago and have two cars that are in and out three or four times a day sometimes with five people on board but not even once with only one person.
Yes I did fill in the COVID-19 L4 breach form giving them the car reg numbers but it appears nothing has been done yet as there were two trips out today. :arrr:

The family, (an import from Eastern Europe), in the house opposite to me who recently moved into the privately rented property moved out again yesterday, I suspect because they could no longer pay the rent, being out of work due to the Virus!
There will be a lot more folks like that with no income, I fear!
I live in a big 3-bedroomed Council House with a massive garden, which I moved into in 1962, and have paid the rent promptly every week, (direct debit from my bank), with the aid from my Company Private Pension and Old Age pension, (I retired in 1984..woo-hoo!).
The only reason we are allowed to be outside now is to obtain urgent groceries and medicine. The Police now have powers to stop anyone and ask their reason for being outside.
All my daily Motorcycle touring and videoing my journeys for YouTube has now ground to a standstill
All my time is now spent indoors, playing with my mountain of toys collected over many years, my vast array of musical instruments, and constantly cooking lovely things to eat on my trusty Gas Stove...many times of the day...and annoying dear Rob with my Forum Comments!...LOL...!!
Apart from the loss of my daily motorcycle tours, nothing much has really changed for me.
I am still the happy bunny I have always been!
I see no complete end to this Virus problem during 2020 while affected folks are still moving around and no cure in sight!
...maybe 2021 will be better, (when I am 87 and still alive!).
Take care all...and keep washing your hands 'till they are as lovely and soft as mine.

Paul...and keep on laughing!.... ...!
