I'm wondering whether there's something wrong with my eyes (along with everything else LOL) because I find all these shots - great as they are - all a little dark, contrasty and nowhere as "clean" as what we're used to seeing in P3Dv4.5 ... or is it just me? They're fine shots ideed - but I can't help but imagine them in 4.5!

Adam.

BTW - whose Dash is that? I like it!

As a matter of interest - what video card are you running P3Dv5 on? I have an idea that my old GTX970 isn't lighting things properly - which may be DX12 related, even though the 970 is supposed to support it.

I have the MJC Dash - which I love - but it's way too "pointy" for me, LOL. I think I had the VColone, but it may not have survived the pre-v5 clean up!!

Thanks for that!! Does it run P3Dv5 OK? I've seen posts on Avsim where even 11Gb 2080Ti users are moaning (!!).

Does v5 see the full 8GB VRAM? I'm thinking that as and when I can afford anything at all, I may go for an RTX2060 (probably can't stretch to a 2070).

Yeah I have yet to run out of vram (touch wood!!) I have been monitoring its usage and the max it's ever used is 4.1gb out of 6.6 usable for v5 and my settings are very high

Not sure why people with these cards are running out? However I have no ai traffic installed yet so that might take a hit..?

Thanks for the info. It means that even on an 8GB card, P3Dv5 is only able to use 6.6GB. I wonder where the other 1.4GB went, LOL!

I think AI might affect CPU more - and FPS might drop, but maybe not gobble up more (precious) VRAM<?>.
