Bloomin' 'eck ... that's some serious shine - in-sim and in Real Life!! Great shot as usual. Whatever you do ... don't buy P3Dv5

Have you noticed they got the position of the nose-art wrong? Call me anal, but don't call me Shirley  (ooops ... not that merry-go-round again! :ph43r: ).

Thanks for looking Bra guy ... re the positioning of the nose art, are you talking about the sim model or the real one? I've done some research, and I'm pretty sure the sim model is correct.
The restored one seems to be protecting that really shiny panel between the "T" and the checkers on the nose.

Heres another photo of another 51 dressed as twilight tear ....

and that mirror finish again....

As for V5 , I wont. Not so much about the things that have come up about it, but I'm not really interested.
4.5 works for fine for me ...when I use it. IL-2, Warthunder, Flying circus are my focus these days.
But DashCaps shots are great ...he works it well

Your 2nd pic (the Eric Allen one) in the original post appears to be more recent <?>. Maybe the aircraft has changed hands since the Dan Kell (2011) pic. Maybe that panel needed to be replaced for some reason.

Either way - that mirror shine is quite unbelievable!!

I must admit this whole latest P3D thang is putting me off LM sims in general. Thankfully, I have a perfectly decent XP11 to enjoy .... and a VERY under-used DCS, plus IL-2. I think I stuill have an old vrsion of War Thunder on the system but haven't fired it up for years.

Happy (if that's the right word) Anzac Day, buddy!

Adam.
