New Pc advice needed

Hi Guys I've just brought a new Pc secondhand but mostly prebuilt by previous owner its a 8th gen core i7 8700 not the k model and I'm wondering if its going to be enough to run the new ms flight sim along with few other sims the system is almost run ready but needing the ram and graphics card which i'm not sure which is better as far as nvidia over amd the ram im looking at getting an 16gb kit of ddr 4 any advice would be a huge help thanks

**Update on Progress with new pc** : I've managed to source a 16gb kit of ddr 4 Corsair Vengeance and am running the new machine with a intel 480gb ssd drive strictly for windows and a couple of old mechanical drives for games etc and an old outdated 4 gb geforce Gt630 my plan is to use this setup as my gaming machine as far as new graphics go I'm out my depth with the newer models and need some advice from anyone who can steer me in the right direction of what 8gb cards would work best for flight simulators as i would love to give the new one a try also if anyone could give me advice on if a possible ram upgrade to 32 gb total would be worth while
