I guess there has never been a Piaggio 149 at the RNZAF... but I think you can neglect that...

wow ...beautiful shots ...hard to pick a favorite, but number 11 is really nice. It really suits the RNZAF paint.

Fine, then I can continue to use them "with your blessing". There are plenty of ideas. It is "slow enough" to see the sights and fast enough not to make longer flights a nightmare. But I miss helicopters for such routes.

Nice shots. Snow in Milford already? The Piaggio is a great add on which I also have in my hangar.

It is an aircraft from the 50's, built by the company that is actually known for the production of the "Vespa" scooters. It is a rather elegant little thing for a military aircraft and flew with the Luftwaffe of the Bundeswehr from 1957 to 1990 and was at that time the oldest aircraft of the German Luftwaffe.
