Microsoft Flight Simulator friends

One thing I've noticed, you really need to zoom in close on the map to find other folk flying, whereas 'friends' appear all the time. So I'll start a thread to share Xbox gamertags, so I can know what you are all up to....
Mine is GodzoneVF.

How do we add 'friends' on the PC version? I have no idea what my gamer tag is!

I'm flying as, no surprises, ZKDWF

I spotted ZKIWI66 on 30 Jan, when I was flying between Napier and Wellington. You were in a C152.

Currently, flying in Australia, with all that beautiful new scenery. Went from Canberra to Sydney (YSSY) last night - Sydney was chaos with too many flyers in F18s doing idiotic things.

I am usually on the South-East Asia Server. Flying the TBM 9 most nights between 7.30pm and 9.00pm
I usually have Discord on, so you can see my status in there ... member of 'Aus Virtual Pilots Server', 'Microsoft Flight Simulator', 'Aussie Group Flights Team', 'The Scoob Crew', or 'SydSquad'

Regards, Dave

I'll check tonight, if I have time to get on.
Almost always flying GA in NZ in Kitfox or RV7 around Canterbury (home base Rangiora) -- otherwise on my world trip in the RV7, currently in Rome.

I was sure I posted a screenshot showing how to find your gamer tag and Friends button in MSFS, but maybe I'm just getting old... or else it was a database restore?

Anyway:

Cool, thanks Rob. Sent out some invites. I'm on my world trip in Italy right now (FS) and have battled for an hour trying to work out how to restart a flight plan part way through at one of the intermediate legs. Couldn't work it out, so modified the plan to remove the first two legs and re-loaded that. Then just getting ready for departure, dropped my kneeboard onto the ground beside my simrig ... whereupon it landed on the on/off switch on the power board ... yep ... one of *those* evenings...
