Postby cowpatz » Sat Feb 12, 2022 9:14 am

As we cannot provide an effective customer support to our older P3D/FSX projects, we have decided to withdraw them from sales in August 2021 and re-release them as freeware in 2022.

The following products are now declared to be FREEWARE FOR NON COMMERCIAL USE:

- F-35 Lightning II package for FSX/P3D

- Eurofighter Typhoon for FSX/P3D

- Aermacchi M-346 for P3D

- TA-4J package for FSX and P3D

- A-4E package for FSX and P3D

- C-2 / E-2 package for FSX and P3D

- Siai Marchetti S-211 for FSX/P3D

 Well done ...the story of my life, I paid good money for most of those a year or so ago ...now they're free.
I must polish my crystal ball.
It really is, to be honest, a great gesture when developers do this ...Alphasim/Virtavia have done the same with a lot of their older stuff. I have tucked away somewhere every model Alpha put out...back in the FS9 days.

I grabbed the Hawk for my FSX, and it installed OK, but while I was trying to see how to start it up, Old BigBeast got very feverish and shut down, totally. It was 42C outside at the time. Haven't done a post-mortem yet, but I got a refurbished replacement which is now SuperBeast2. It is a Win 10 thing (no choice) but I should be able to dual-boot it with Win7 if I have to. I'm hoping I can just swap in the hard drives from BigBeast.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

One dead machine with lots of goodies in it, and its Win10 replacement which of course does what Microsoft thinks I should want instead of what I want :(
