Group VFR Flight around lake and rocket pad - Sunday, 3 April 2022 at 7.30pm

Here's an invitation to join our group VFR flight on the night of 3 April 2022 (Sunday) starting at 7.30pm (NZDT).

Departing Hastings Airport (NZHS), and ending up at Whakatane Airport (NZWU).
Along the way we will be detouring over beautiful Lake Waikaremoana, do a touch and go at Wairoa (NZWO), and buzzing Rocket Lab's launch site at Mahia Peninsula.
Another touch and go at Gisborne (NZGS), before flying over the Ureweras to conclude our flight at Whakatane (NZWK)

Should take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Suits GA aircraft.

Flying will be in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Server is South East Asia.

Using Discord 'Long White Cloud' Server for voice traffic. Please try and have voice available. It makes its easier for everyone to know what's going on.

Certainly liked flying my new PC on Sunday. I'm now no longer constrained by the limitations of the XBOX Series S.

I bought my new PC from PB Tech last week, part of their End of Financial Year sales. Got it for $1900, which I thought was a real steal. Runs MSFS 2020 smoothly in Ultra mode, at 30-45 FPS (with no overclocking yet), which is good enough for me. Actually, flying it Monday in Germany, I was clocking 40-50 FPS. My Dell Monitor is set at 1440p, and the graphics are absolutely stunning.

The GGPC Legend specs are :
Intel Core i5-11400
16 GB RAM
500 GB SSD
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB
Windows 11 Home

Not that I am aware of, but I could well be online later this evening on the South East server flying around Rangiora in the RV7.
I'm thinking of a Plan from NZRT (Rangiora), Culverden, Hanmer Springs, Lake Haupiri, Hikitika - through, rather than over, the mountains.
I have no idea whether I will land at these places, or just overfly.
