Got to try out my new sim plane from VSkyLabs, the wee EuroFox. Took her from NZCH to NZRT, a short hop but great to test the plane and ge a feel for how it handles.....especially on finals! Anyways, here are 3 pics for your amusement!

I'm flying a Karatoo in real life out of NZRT. I'm looking for something like this (only taildragger) for MSFS.
Haven't found anything yet. I need something that cruises at 90mph / 80kts to be close to the Karatoo.
The tendency these days for a/c in the sim seems to be over-powering them with large engines.

Hahahahahah, Maybe Auckland bridge! I handles really nicely and pretty goes where you point itr with no real tendencies to wander. Trims nicely as well.
Tempted to try and fly under bridges now!!!

Thanks for taking the time to look and leave a comment :)

You will probably know my uncle then...Rex Woods! This one comes in both tri-carriage and taildragger version...I think it even has floats! I agree some developers like to over power the engines. This plane has the Rotax engine (912LS or 912 ULS), and is rated at either 80hp or the beefier 100hp models. I find the 80hp version is quite enough to get me around the local areas with hops down to NZAS.
Maybe Ill catch up with you someday down at the airfield!

Cheers for looking and leaving a comment!

Don't think I know Rex as I've only been here at RT for a few weeks. I used to fly in the North Island (Matamata) but I'm a very 'on-again / off-again' pilot with low hrs. I'm just renewing my Class 2 Microlight license after a 6 year hiatus from when I moved down this way. Supposed to have my test tomorrow, but rest of the family went and got sick so we're being good little bunnies and isolating (we're all good, no dramas).
I might see you around; not a member of CRAC and generally over by the Southern Taildraggers hangars. Not sure in XP11 but the MSFS rendition of RT is pretty darn poor ( HINT HINT developers.... ! )
