Farewell ZK-CIB ...almost.

I've just heard from Jono that the old girl took her last flight today from AKL to Wanaka.
I hope they look after her.

Yes CP.... across the airfield from the Warbird's place. I would have thought MOTAT would have been a contender...but I guess getting her there would have been an issue.
Anyway, shes there (Wanaka)

I visited Wanaka a month ago, A tragic place, with aircraft in various sad states. The lucky ones are inside, but those outside are a crying shame. Very much a case of we have got lots of stuff but struggle to look after it.

I had a similar impression when I last visited sadly, the displays seemed to be case of 'quantity over quality', hopefully it gets looked after.

"I hope they look after her." was my polite way of saying what you have both mentioned.
The last time I was down there, the outside exhibits were nothing more than sad. The Loadstar "flew the coup" was a rotting mess.
Even some of the inside aircraft were in a sad state... birds pecking through the fabric etc.
