Group VFR Flight from Haast to Queenstown - Sunday, 29 May 2022

Here's an invitation to join our group VFR flight on the evening of 29 May 2022 (Sunday) starting at 7.30pm (NZDT).

Continuing on from our last jaunt in the South Island, we return to Haast (NZHT) and head to Queenstown (NZQN).

Along the way we are doing short hops to the back of beyond, via Neils Beach (NZWE), Gorge River (NZQE), Martins Bay (NZMJ) and down the Hollyford Valley to Glenorchy (NZGY)

Should take about 2 hours. This probably suits Bush Planes or Float Planes.

Flying will be in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Server is South East Asia.
Time set is 1200 hours (noon NZT)

Using Discord 'Long White Cloud' Server for voice traffic. Please try and have voice available. It makes its easier for everyone to know what's going on.

Ahh, I'm gonna miss this one - wish I had known earlier - have just bought tickets to TopGun Maverick for tonight.
Still, had a flight out of NZRT (IRL) this morning with my little fella in KTW but was unfortunately cut short due to very high oil temps which prompted me to return and land and let someone else figure out what the problem was (fault sender, apparently).
Cheers, and have a great flight and will try to catch the next one.

Great enjoyable slow flight from Haast to Queenstown on Sunday night, with all of us (Dave, Ty and Robin) in the Cub X.

Tried dipping my wheels in Lake McKerrow with disastrous consequences. Had to 'slew' my way out of the water.
