Christmas

Postby simonh » Sat Dec 24, 2022 9:52 am

Good morning folks,
I thought I'd take this opportunity to wish everyone here a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I have a few new books ...actually several, to have a look at while on leave from work.
Enjoy the Festive Season and stay safe. ^_^

Same to you Simon, and everyone else. No books for me but a huge stack of old Airliner World magazines that I'm planning to get through :D

Been a hell of a year or two huh, just as we think we're at the end of the COVID tunnel (apparently we're not) we get hit by a financial wotsit. Got a feeling no ones gonna be spending too much on flight sim goodies over the next 12 months, but at least we've prolly all got plenty of things sitting in the install folder that we can revisit, half of which we've prolly not even used yet :D

If there's one thing I wanna get back into this year its multi-player flying and connecting w real folks in MP via chat instead of just reading their posts. I hope Dave (ZK-DWF) is keen to keep promoting them and be great to see a few more peeps showing up for some kiwi flights. There's so much awesome terrain to explore locally and MSFS is prolly the platform to use as the MP stuff is so easy. Have a great xmas day folks if that's your thing and hopefully some good times ahead over the break w family and friends

(maybe we could keep this thread of Simon's sticky as "the xmas thread" ?

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
