Ardmore, Yes

Postby Charl » Sun Feb 26, 2023 1:48 pm

NZ hasn't seen this much activity, probably, EVER.
What a nice break from the Real World!

Ardmore was the one that would wrap the package for me.
Many thanks Ron and fellow creators, for the hard work.

Just what my old airplane needed, I have stood there and spectated many a time.

It's all there, and sits very nicely in the latest flavours of Auckland

So good.

What better way to view Ardmore than upside down in a Spitfire.

Haha yes, one look at your avatar and we understand...

I am deeply embarrassed by my earlier screenshots, as in my haste I did not load the ground textures!
Here's the real deal (With an inverted Curtis P-40N):

There may be a tree out of place somewhere, but I doubt it:

Epic scenery, there will be so many hours wasted enjoyed to the full here.

Time to visit Spec-Savers :rules:

The scenery looks fabulous!. Had a wee hover taxi around in the Guimbal last night and there were loads of other live players doing circuits. I feel one of Dave's NZFF MP sessions coming on based there?

Back in the day Ardmore used to have in excess of a 1000 movements a day. It was not uncommon to have 12 aircraft in the circuit.
I believe that it was once the busiest airfield in the Southern Hemisphere.
