Marty, MSFS uses Physical Based Rendering which allows for handling light reflections on different materials. Plastic I'm told is different from glass. The sim also allows you to set depth of field/focus within the shot. Lastly that H145 model is the crazywing alter ego of PMDG, and beautifully made. It comes in many flavours and has a few NZ renderings which I have now unearthed. As I learn it, there will be more to see here.
