MS2024 Helicopter error?

Postby cowpatz » Wed Jun 28, 2023 4:48 pm

I was just watching an interview with a FSElite guy interviewing the heads of Asobo and Microsoft simulation departments at the flight sim EXPO. At one point the official MS2024 trailer played briefly.
To me it looks like they have the tailrotor rotating the incorrect way. I might be seeing things but what do you think?
It appears at approx 45 sec into the trailer where the heli is starting up on the oil rig helipad. Try playing it at 0.25 speed. It appears as if the blade's trailing edge is leading. Which way does the tail rotor rotate on a AS350? The second video seems to confirm my view.

Yeah, this was picked up by the helicopter community when the trailer was released. I'm sure Microsoft / Asobo have had multiple emails about it now.

Flightsim community: HOW DARE THEY !!! (as they pony up the meagre $20 to buy their next incredibly good value add-on)
