I guess it depends oh how you define liveable. “A perfect education score” really? We have one of the poorest educational outcomes in the developed world at the moment. Commuting is a nightmare and the transport system is a mess.
It may well have some beauty spots, and the 3 harbours are great……..but most liveable …..hhmmm.

Honestly, you couldn't pay me enough to live and work up there! :)
When I loved in the 'Tron I'd go up a half dozen times a year for training and conferences and what not, even some customers occasionally, and that was always enough to 'remind' me I left England (London) for a reason and AKL wasn't any better!
