I Found the Harvards

There's a bunch of NZ Harvard repaints available, using the Reno pack T-6 models.
I am one of many of us who have battled to make this work

Hi there I'm having trouble getting this to add into my FS. Tried a few different times dragging the file into my community folder but it does not show up in game. However it is listed in my content manager though. Also, I have the Asobo pack with the Harvards installed. Anything you can suggest?

I asked advice on the interwebs, and none of it made any sense.
You need to buy the Reno Harvards, I was told. Yes, but which ones? there are plenty and you could spend $$$ on getting the wrong ones.
Looking into the downloaded folders didn't help because of the way the package is erm, packaged.

So here's what I ended up with, and this is more of a Note to Self, because I'm still not entirely sure which Asobo pack is the base model for the repaints.



So in the sim, you have to go looking for the North American T-6 Texan, and in its liveries selection you will find the NZ Harvards!
The repaints are (almost) worth all the hassle - mainly because NOTHING could be worth all the hassle!
Anyhow, having painted these myself for FS9 I find it's a pretty good representation:



And, getting them into the sim will allow for the completion of the Real vs Sim thing I started at Ardmore.

my apologies for not making it clearer: My repaints, ad I think most of the others available are for the base Reno pack, which includes one version of each of the Reno planes, so one Pitts, one T-6, one P-51 and one L-39 . There are also a few repaints available for that particular P-51, by John Terrell, and these are outstanding.
I have been told it is also possible to make them work with other T-6 version, but I'm not sure how, as I don't have those.

I tried 2024 for two weeks, but it drove me mad, nothing worked, so I deleted it and asked for my money back.
So I won't be updating old paints or make new ones for 2024 any time soon I fear...

Quite understandable ... but what a shame!

Goodness knows how other people manage to create liveries for 2024, but I gave up as well - it's *insane*.
