I am studying the whole camera thing (DCS) and getting inspiration from these people.
Charl, I've been reading and watching lots of Roman history lately, and The Eagle was very prominent back then, so I just used the name.

In my day, Latin was compulsory in Yrs 7 and 8, and optional after that. I have found that scant knowledge very useful over the years, so Sister Mary Bernadette must have been an effective teacher.
Sad to say, she lost a lot of cred when she told us "Don't get your virgo mixed up with your virga" .

Mike, my interest in Latin comes from my Mother, who is almost fluent.
My interest in the Romans is recent ...I started collecting Roman coins which spurred me on to learn more about them.
I was never taught by Catholics but spent a few years at a seventh-day adventist school where I learned a lot about Tech drawing.
I was sidelined for asking too many questions about the bible studies.

My lady Wendy was brought up in a 7DA environment. Before she retired from teaching, at St Mary's College (RC, Girls only) in Ipswich, she taught social studies and Home Ec, as well as being the only non-Catholic teacher of religion as a subject in the Brisbane Diocese. She also coached four soccer/ futsal sides to four finals and won three out of four.

Me too!!! Were your Latin classes in New Zealand schools?? I have confession for you. I excelled in the two Latin classes for 2 years but have COMPLETELY forgot all the Latin words now. hahahahahahaha

And the photo (oppssss I forgot it is screenshot) showing the pilot turning his head to right side to look at right is astonishing and astounding.

Forgive me for stupid questions. What is DCS?? Is it separate flight sim platform only for military planes??? If so, does DCS have amazing ground textures and amazing airports?? Does DCS have military cargo planes and refueling tankers such as KC-10, 707s, A400M, C-130, K135, A330s, and so on?

Back on topic, sort of: I read a snippet that Indonesia has bought a couple of dozen F-15EX, so that airframe design will go 100 years or more!
And would it not be an interesting tour, to see what they have in inventory:

Rafale
F-16
SU 27
SU 30

Seems the region is a nervous one.

We don't see much of it out here although they might've done a 'show of force' a while back after the Kiwi pilot was abducted by those thugs, that's still going on by the way. When we fly through Makassar on our way in or out, there're usually some Sukhoi somethingorothers parked there. There is an air force museum but it's away from Jakarta so a bit hard to get to. Interesting place alright.
