Those are great. I knew the Luftwaffe had an F-104 painted like that, but it looks just as good on the F-4.
I can't remember if that was the Steinhoff Wing...I'll have to have a look.

Thanks for looking...evidently JG-74, Neuburg AB painted an airframe "Molders' in July 2001.

And here's me expecting (from the title) Iron Cross with Oak Leaves :lol:
Nice shots. That chequerboard Phantom has an ethereal look to it, which is possibly odd for a warplane!

Thanks for the correction..for some reason Macki Steinhoff came to mind. Still, an Honor title for a great pilot.
