MSFS NZ Update

Not sure what it entails, but I went off to Southland anyway.
I downloaded a couple of JK's NZ repaints for the Goose, then discovered NOT for the stock one but payware Big Radials version!
But we're here for the scenery...

Always room for a nice rotorwing

I still can't get over how great this sim looks, especially in the hands of a master screener.
I didn't get around to checking out the update till this morning, my understanding is that it is mostly bridge fixes for the photogrammetry areas -- they remove the pg bridges and replace them with actual models. My local bridges look amazing now. And pg is streaming beautifully today, it doesn't always do that for me.

I think the snow is tied to the weather system, it was mentioned in the Q&A a while back, but I don't remember if a fix was coming up.

Thanks!

I was wondering what it all might have... yes the snow is still in the wrong places, and Milford Sound still has smeary textures.

But sometimes you get hooked by some of the textures, and just let the aeroplane fly on by...

I came across a fantastic resource:
This shows all the POI in the various World Updates, and is very user-friendly.
I went looking for some bridges, yes they are here:

And an encounter with wildlife at Akaroa Harbour:

Definitely a sim-only experience, lest you create unintended fishpaste with that huge prop.
The dolphin animations are well rendered I thought
