That would be the one in Geordieland, then? Nice pics.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Very nice. They look good in the natural metal finish and the RAF markings look great on it.

For me it is and remains the atomic bomber of the RAF. As a resident of Potsdam, which was cremated shortly before closing time on April 14, 1945, I have a problem with the thing. But of course everyone decides for themselves.

I understand what you're saying . I myself have no emotional connection to the type ,just a technical interest.
However, my Japanese partner of many years (with not much aviation knowledge) knows what a B-29 is, having had family members vaporized at both of the American A Bomb targets.
2 aircraft, 2 bombs, and about 355,000 people were dead.

Thanks for the tip. It may sound “too sensitive.”
Human history is not a history of harp players. I was recently told this quite dramatically. We are as we are, descendants of barbarians. One of the first achievements may have been the hand axe. Man became what we are today when the first person came up with the idea of hitting his neighbor on the head with a hand ax when he brought home an animal he had killed because he didn't feel like going hunting himself. So today you just have to munch on greens, but I don't.
