MSFS Pause or not.........

Postby cowpatz » Mon Jun 03, 2024 9:56 pm

I was passing about 10,000 ft on the descent into NZWN when.........damn, dinner was ready.
As I was in developer mode, I thought that I would be clever put it in pause mode (selected through the developer menu options).
Dinner was followed by watching a bit on TV.
Imagine my surprise to find this awaiting on my screen upon my return! I thought developer mode was a full pause unlike the normal pause selection. Nope it still burns the fuel.

:o In AFS2 (and I think in AFS4 too), when you pause the flight the plane stops, but the time keeps passing anyway. Quite a creepy effect really.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Good to know... I haven't left it paused as long as you did, but I generally use Active Pause + Drone Camera to take most screens.
I've noticed some alarms go off if it takes too long
You'd think pressing P would just stop the bus, eh?
