Super shot! Looks as if it was taken from the boom of a deicing truck.

Do they have those in NZ?

No driving boom trucks that I’m aware of. Yes it would be better if a Boeing. I’m visiting “the dark side” to settle my curiosity. I
Like any aircraft it has pros and cons.
NZQN doesn’t have the space to have the required ICAO RESA (Runway End Safety Area of 240m).
Having an EMAS reduces the required RESA length requirement.
