Y'know, these posts come into my work computer, where there's always a spreadsheet open B-)
So: 330 knots average ground speed, should be into Ohakea by nightfall if that's where he's going.
Quite a relaxed schedule - left Jacksonville last Thurs!

Touched at Whenuapai at 1500hrs.
Might be some good video of it arriving, one of those A-109s quite active in the area at the time.

That led me on to watching this decent overview of the Embraer C-390 .. was that avail in time for consideration anyone know? seems like would be fit for purpose?

Not to mention the Kawasaki C-2
Essentially a half-size C-17 this very competent aircraft was pitched at the RNZAF.
I suspect RAAF commonality requirements sealed the 130J deal.

I believe that one of the reasons for selecting the C130 J was that it is one of the most common aircraft used by various Militaries around the world thus making part procurement so much easier when away from home. I must admit that Embraer does look cool though.

The video says arrived in Auckland but it does not look like NZAA to me. What airport is that in the video please?
