Very nice indeed. I see it's in 'Pips' Prillers markings.

Josef "Pips" Priller was a German military aviator and wing commander in the Luftwaffe during World War II. As a fighter ace, he was credited with 101 enemy aircraft shot down in 307 combat missions. Wikipedia

He was busy guy.

A seminal aircraft, and I guess tricky to take on as everyone knows what that one looks like!

JG 54 Grun Herz...that unit had camouflage that was unique to that unit.
As an aside to the Priller Wurger, his wingman was shot down while flying that machine.

Lovely repaint... as a kid I painted my Airfix 190 in green, and all my mates pointed and laughed at it :wacko:
Theirs were all shades of Humbrol Grey

After the invasion of Russia, JG54 made great use of captured Russian paint. Have a look at their summer colours and it's easy to tell it's not German paint.
