Klemm L25

From Classics Hangar.

Not sure this would normally find its way into my hangar.
But it is a labour of love, almost four years in the making, and a flightsim masterpiece.

Low and slow, excellent all round visibility and a joy to fly.
I am pottering around the Nelson District in it.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Cheers Mike.
The thing is made of wood, I am betting the machine in the museum has this exact woodgrain.

Wow looks fantastic and tempting to add to my hangar...a Klemm has been on our shores at the Wanaka Air Show

That’s a stunning plane and beautiful modelling, low and slow is the order of the day for that bird! Love to see more pics!

Given the L25 flew round the world, I guess getting a couple of later Swedish samples here wasn't too big an ask!

The soundset is rather special.
If you are using something like TrackIR you can lean out of the cockpit, and the turbulence hits you in the ear.
I spend time leaning out in stages, just to hear the engine and wind noise.
As to flying: what more d'you really need than speed, altitude, and direction :)
