Bunnings stock up.

While I was making this shot I got to thinking....there are a few real life brand names and logos associated with the shot....NCA , Bunnings, SkyChef (stairs) BP on the tanker...a few of the cargo containers had DHL on them.
Do you think all those groups have approved the use of their material. I'm pretty sure all the aircraft manufactures are on board , most of the Airlines I guess.....was just I thought.
Recently CP mused about "misuse" of flight simulators, as in some numb nut doing Kamikaze type stuff in Airliners....interesting. Do you remember in the early days of FS ,Gulfstream wouldn't allow any of their aircraft to be modelled.

I think today, given the size of the interest, you would me mad not to collect royalties if you could . Look at all the Boeing and Airbus endorsed products on the market, they must collect something for that.
Bit of a waffle , but I'm interested ..... have a nice Sunday afternoon friends

I mean... that shot did bring a bit of a smile!

Companies are paranoid about misuse of trademark.
Can't say I blame them, given what's out there.
MSFS is full of "Not the Original Aircraft Manufacturer" stuff.

Recently I read something regarding a “viral” video of a United aircraft doing an approach with an engine on fire. It turned out to be fake. However, it did get me to thinking that with the increasing realism of flightsim (and its availability to the younger set via Xbox) it is only a matter of time before we see restrictions being applied to our hobby.

Unless I am mistaken, I think I saw that same Bunnings building in my NZCH scenery by Rob. I did not know it would be possible to park a cargo plane in front of that building
