Without hijacking this ......how do you zoom in so close ?

Marty it's the sim's Drone Camera.
It can do everything you'd want for a screenshot but is a little clunky to operate.
I"ve assigned various bindings to ease the pain - some folk have even attached a Gamepad to their rig, just to operate the Drone Camera!

These are the commands and default settings:
