I have been a Skylane fan forever....Elegant, stable, a great touring aircraft. I will be flying this one a lot.

Anyway, I was out and about in the Franz/coast area this morning .

A very nice aircraft the Skylane, just not a great choice for strip work. I recall the lack of prop/ground clearance being an issue with regular ground strikes. The RG is quite a machine.

CP, I've read a few things about that...but I'm an "SST" Skylane driver...Sun Shine and Tarmac.
I might have another look at the RG....I think its that odd retraction sequence that gets me...I like to look tidy on departure
