Oshkosh 2025

Postby Splitpin » Fri Aug 15, 2025 11:25 am

Decided to take a day off, mainly to get away from the corporate bullshit coming down from overpaid gits who have no idea of what (my job is) or how I do it.. but happily take credit for the results
Just finished watching 2 hours of the subject line....wow !
For me the standouts weren't the F-35's, F-18's etc (impressive indeed) but ....it was the Pitts amazing aerobatics, the Mig 15 displays and the replica 262.

Oshkosh was long on my list of visitations, but the YT coverage is so good...
I too watched a lot of it, ain't those afterburning MiGs a sight?
And yes the Me 262 ... nevermind it's a replica.
Boggles the mind that the design was conceived 85 years ago.
I see it stayed behind for a while, in their Museum.

As a keen Microsoft Flight Sim, Ultraight Aircraft aficionado (1982-), I keenly watch all the Oshkosh, etc activities on YouTube!
Lots of Folks are enjoying themselves with aircraft!

Paul...small birds... with wings, and an engine.... :D ...!
