A garage arm workout , cut and polish.

I've been meaning to deal to the paint on my partners little Cruze for ages.
The plan was to do it when she was away in Japan last month....all the doors have faded (very odd), and some of the clear coat on the hatch is peeling.
Anyway I made a start.....the left front guard had been done earlier, also faded.

Needless to say she was impressed....sort of. So today I decided to attack the drivers side door and work back...by hand .....bloody hell, 2 hours ...one door, and one beer. I did the maths....4 more doors, 1 beer per door...could get messy.
So one door it was, but not the one I started....sorry the photos are so big.

Not sure what to do with this.

The bonnet paint is not to bad, but I need to pop that dent out, and tidy up the number plate (she rear ended a van)

Yeah doing it by hand is a big job. I’ve done it many times. It’s always satisfying when it’s finished.
Glad to see you were keeping up your electrolyte levels whilst you were doing this important work.

Thanks CP , I'll use a buffer on a drill for the rest of it.
It is satisfying to see the result. I'm not sure about the hydration...had I have carried on I think there may have been an , enthusiasm vs ability problem.
Seasons greetings CP to you and yours...take care.
