The VC *is* available, sure a lot of it is eye-candy so far, but its well worth downloading as is, just follow the forum instructions. The perspective, detail and lighting seem very nice. Here's some panel screenies I just took. Oh and I can vouch for Emil Serafino Jr's sound set for the Trent 800s (which I think is what AirNZ run?), its a 40MB download (b777_trent_800_series_sound.zip) but very nice. Quite a distinctive sound huh.
Man, as everyone else has already said, its so amazing the quality these projects are delivering for no cost to the community, no doubt its a launch-pad for the modellers and painters etc to go onto other professional opportunities, but even so it must be a huge undertaking:Last edited by deeknow on Thu Aug 07, 2008 12:37 am, edited 1 time in total.Deans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/

So has anyone tryed this in X if its not built for it ?
When you download a texture (which with posky includes panel, sound, model etc) there is an fsx folder which is just 737 panel and sounds

I used to love going up to the cockpit and shooting yarns with the drivers on long-haul flights.
Broke the monotony for them too I'm sure.

Oh sory man, Its FS9 and FSX, in FSX the VC will use the stock 738 gauges

I have it installed now for comparison, and it doesn't look half bad.
In fact, it probably won't even show up on a posted screenshot.
Cheers Charl, thanks for that. Nice shots there by the way.
I have to add that I still really like this model.
I agree with the bar setting thoughts - the POSKY 777 really is an excellent addon, especially for freeware.
