Next up...

I decided to do a little RWY12 sprucing up of Great Barrier's two airfields. They're not perfect, but they're better than the default.

Should be all packaged up and ready for download from all the usual suspects tomorrow. Enjoy!

That is awesome news Rob!

I was only flying into NZGB about 20 minutes ago wishing someone would spruce up the airports!

Thank you very much :D

By the way, where did you get that Great Barrier AI from? Is it possible to also upload craft and flightplans to the net?

All uploaded to AVSIM, Flightsim.com, Simviation, and other assorted sites. Trolly, just for you, I included my GBA and MTN planes (by MK and HT) and Traffic .bgl's so you can use them in your flying.

Enjoy!

Nice one. Those hills in the background look very good as well, the trees look suited for the terrain. What add-ons are you using there?

Here's the list:

Christian Stock's 76m mesh
NZ Topo
VOZ SE textures

The VOZ textures change the trees, too, I've found.

Awesome, thank you very much Rob!

Here is the avsim info for all those who can't be bothered searching it themselves:

File Description:
Quick scenery for Great Barrier Island's two airports, Claris (Kaitoke) and Okiwi Station. Per request, this scenery includes Great Barrier Air and Mountain Air AI, using Henry Tomkiewicz and Marcel Kuhnt models. Please read the IMPORTANT readme file for the list of Rwy12 Libraries that will need to be installed.

 Oops, I forgot to reply to your PM!

Yes it is all sorted now and makes the Hauraki Gulf much more fun to fly in. Thank you very much for including them :D

Note: I had to put my AI slider above 50% to make them visable

Excellent! Good to hear you got it going.

You can always use TTools to change those percentages so you can be below 50% and still get all the Barrier and Mountain AI. Personally, I have my AI slider maxed. If I'm flying into a hornets nest like LAX or JFK, I want to have to deal with all of it. I love being in that environment. ;)

Happy flying!

Looks good to me; definitely a vast improvement over the default scenery that's for sure.
