Howdy,

With the recent release of natas' Bayview Chateau Tongariro, it seemed appropriate to create a simple steam venting event for Mount Ruapehu.

Download it from: http://www.myfilehut.com/userfiles/165110/Ruapehu.zip

It's so easy to be hamhanded with effects like this, expect something like a white balloon cutout tethered to the mountain top.
Not so...

I actually thought I'd messed up the installation, when suddenly, thar she blew.
Nice, Dorian.

Ah man I feel at home :P

Just a bit of info currently Ruapehu is not steaming the lake temperature has dropped to 19c and hydro thermal activity is low.

The real interest is the other little rock which has had a small bit o renewed activity but as of yet is not steaming although the active vent is still quiet warm!

Kaetahi on the Northern Slopes of Tongario always steams so thats the place to place the next steam effect if you could?

For further info go to www.geonet.org.nz

A thousand thanks to Dorian for doing this effect B)
