This is one of those models you can just look at.
My landing gear fetish  is more than catered for in the detail provided.
Loved the airstair animation, and pilots too - only Realair has produced anything comparable.
But the coup de grace is the props, you can just gawp at those shiny spinners as the engines start up or shut down in perfect sound synch. Those amazing blades...not even my favourite Aeroworx King Air can compete.
Is there a NZ connection? Don't care if there isn't.
Actually the model is flawed in several ways, not least the ability to zoom vertically to 12,000ft.
Does it matter? Nope, just love looking at it...

HI Charl

Thanks for that bud, as for the power issue though it wouldn't surprise me if it could go vertical as the thing is only a wee bit heavier that a SAAB 340 but has a couple of Allison 1100's strapped on to it and those babies power the C130 Hercules.

at full cruising speed she is only marginally slower than a 737 so as you could probably tell it was bloody hard to make an FDE for it

As for the NZ connection your looking at it

Cheers for the comments bud

Nice work guys!

Indeed a high performing aircraft, can outclimb some of the Regional Jets in some cases!

Did you SEE the download numbers??
10,150 as of this evening on AVSIM, hottest file of the month.
Clearly you hit a chord there danbo, well done.

thanks, I checked just now and we broke 11000 downloads this is excluding the 10000 we had on our ftp server before we had to pull the plug on it just a couple of days after release

And to top it all off the VC version is just around the corner plus alot of model fixes.

I have a really good team there and we are getting better as we learn.

Gday guys,
I just tried it out from NZWN-NZNS. The plane felt great to fly, and the avionics suited it. The model is also very nice. I found it hard to slow down enough in the approach, causing me to touch down at 120 knots and roll miles off down the runway.

Use your reverser, shes a powerfull plane and thats a fact but on the flip side the ATP we are doing is somewhat underpowered.

I couldn't get the reverse-thrust to work. I usually just hold down the down arrow and back she goes, but it just didn't happen. Also one of the pop-up panels (the one with the lights and the autobrake) was missing a gauge or two.

yes you need to use prop feathering as in real life thrusters only reverse with feathering, your the first to be missing any guages so I suggest you reinstall.

When this was announced, I was having trouble with my pc/sim and was not downloading any new addons.

Now I have it fixed, I compleatly forgot about this thread untill today. I just downloaded v1.1 and took it on a flight from Nelson to Wellington.

My reactions are  + !

I love it, so framerate friendly, smooth looking and easy to fly. This one is just begging for a mock ANZ repaint (please- someone).

I have only found one other repaint for the s2000 on AVsim, being R.E.X. for Australia. Are there any other ones apart from the Crossair ones included? I would like a private one I can add a ZK- reg to if possible...

Keep up the great work BSMP! I look foward to the next production, your planes really are payware quality
