The GNZLAP Pack 3

Read and report on flightsim developers progress of upcoming or completed products

This release is the latest in the series bringing to New Zealand skies over 100 AI aircraft (so far) in the sub-5 tonne MTOW class.
It is a standalone package containing:
- 21 complete freeware AI planes,
- Textures for 26 payware Cessna's from HTAI Models,
- Flight plans
- AFCAD files
- Startup flights to help spot AI traffic

The aircraft you will find here are actual NZ residents, realistically painted and with correct registrations.
We've tried to emulate real-world journeys, so the aircraft are allocated to fly from their home base.
So for example, expect to see the Massey University Pipers at Palmerston North,

Kapiti Districts Aero Club Cessna's at Paraparaumu,

and plenty of aircraft buzzing around Wellington.

Here's the RNZAF King Air at Ohakea, in company of the Aeroworx tour version.
Beautiful model beautifully rendered by Steve Jenks. (And the door closes when the lights come on.)

To get all the planes you should first download and install Pack 2 (GNZLAP22.zip) from major sim sites.

Another fine effort there Charl. But I do have one question - when did the cargo pod fall off the air2there Caravan? Hope nobody was hurt if it fell off in flight :(

Great stuff, does this package include any South Island GA or will that be in pack #4?

BTW, what is the white and yellow plane in your second screenshot?

Hey CHarl, what version of Ohakea is it that you are using? I can't see much from the screenshot but the quality looks way better than any Ohakea file I have ever found. :o

Ah somebody pointed the exhaust at it and it burned a hole right through!
But it will be re-installed with the next GNZLAP release! Weren't you going to repaint it?

Thanks! This is esssentially finishing off N Island traffic, with some Sounds planes and others creeping in from the top of the S Island.

A quick 'n dirty GNZLAP doodle on the RealAir SF 260. It's faster than the MD500E I hate to admit.
what version of Ohakea
Not entirely sure, but I think what you are seeing is largely due to Airport Upgrade 7 textures.

Oops guilty  I am supposed to be redoing the Caravan (along with the rest of the Soundsair fleet). But in my defence, wait until you see what else I have in store for Wellington...

...just a couple more tidy ups to go...
