All good, maybe I'll think twice about making announcements in the future <_< , if it's a big announcement I shudder to think what might happen

The world would melt down !

Dreamweaver, if your disc is warped it can be returned, under the Consumers Guarantees Act it's faulty. They may say it wasn't warped when you bought it though. Last time I bought a DVD from the Warehouse they showed me the disc befor they put it in the case, (not that any time I actually had the chance to hold it and check if it's warped, it was more of a glance to see if there's any stratches).

Anyway, thanks Jon for the opportunity to discuss this topic!

you're not wanting a refund/exchange, you're wanting them to replace the disk. so they should have no issue replacing it.

But why shoudl you have to replace it anyway!?!? We all know fsx isn't gana look like it does on the ms site if we running a low spec machine. I brought fsx, I knew I would hardly be abe to use it but in a years time it could be all I use, so whats the point in returning a copy when (unless you give up the hoby all togehter) your jsut gana end up buying it sooner or later...

We were certainly warned, just try running fs9 with the "required system specs" so its not unexpected.

About the returning of cds to the warehouse, I once brought a music cd and when my mum actuly saw what it was she got so damn mad that she took it back and got a refund  So I suppose it is possible.... it was opend too.
