A few things from me

1. While looking at the parking chart it says DC-3 next to the 737 if that is the NAC one will the special airshow texture be released separately or will it just be one of the default colours.

2. Also on the parking chart it has aircraft, such as F-136, F2B, what are these aircraft I don't appear to have them.

3. Thirdly would it be possible to issue the actual parking numbers that will appear on the flight sim selection list.

Sorry about all the questions, regards, Scott

Edit = I have found the F2B I was looking for a jet not a prop but the F-136 I still can't find

You will find that the files you have received has the NEW DC3 model with it, that is in NAC colours

F-136 - You dont need to worry about that one, the chart was done weeks ago, some thinking has changed since it was done re this aircraft, hence it not being included.

"3. Thirdly would it be possible to issue the actual parking numbers that will appear on the flight sim selection list." - Not sure what you want when you say this.

I am with Ian and have discoverd a few 'hitches' that some may experience.

1 - Panels. Once you have the aircrat installed check that all the panels work, you may find that when compared to the screenshots on the Airshow webpage you are missing gauges. This only seems to happen for certain people, if it is an issue I will issue new panel configs for the aircraft.

2 - DC3. This may not appear on your aircraft selection list. I have found that the DC-3 config file is looking for texture.1 when it should be simply texture without the .1. If you are having problems open the DC3 config file and make this change, the 3 should then appear in your aircraft selection under NZFF AIRSHOW (provided you have followed the README for installing)

I'm sure well find some more hitches as we go, the sooner I know about them the sooner they will be fixed, so if something doesnt seem quite right, let me know.

I could do it my self, but is there an AFCAD reader / maker for FSX

There is not, and none on the horizon, certainly not from Lee Swordy.

Ok, thats the standard 'challenge' it seems, I'll work on a fix when I'm home.

Panel Fixes

Well so much for putting my feet up when I got home this evening <_<

Anyway, I have 'fixed' the panels that some have had problems with, I will post a zipped file that corrects them soon*. Anyone receiving a CD from me next week wont need to worry about this as the files have been updated with these already :)

Parachute Team

Updated config file for both teams, this will be uploaded soon* as well

F-111

A new config file for this as well. Minor adjustments but important ones.

* soon as in I need to zip it, upload to flightsim.co.nz in the next 60mins type soon

Ok, here are the files...

UPDATES

All in one zip.

For those who want to try, Nik tells me if you press 'w' and then 'w' again the missing gauges will appear in the NZFF aircraft. I suggest you give this a go and save yourself the hassle of installing new panel config files.

The aircraft updates are important.

This 'w' 'w' will give you an open forward looking screen with the five main gauges needed. Another option is to press shift+z to show data on the top of the screen.

An additional file everyone will need. This is the F-111 afterburner flames FX that should appear when aircraft lights are turned on

F-111 AFTERBURNER FX FILE

Unzip this file and copy the contents into your FSX EFFECTS folder.

DC3

The DC3 I have sent, both on the CD and electronically, has an error in the config file which means it is appearing black in FSX.

Curently the config says texture=1, you need to delete the 1 and all will be well.

This model, for those who havn't realised it yet, is the NEW DC-3, not a repaint of the default. I think that one slipped in under the radar somewhat. The textures are lower rez than will be in the final release, and the model is the beta 1 model (that just means it doesnt have all the fun bits included)
