Rotorua for FSX

Read and report on flightsim developers progress of upcoming or completed products

Ok, this is finally up and running. There are three different versions of this scenery:
    Demoware version -- the complete scenery minus Rotorua Regional Airport available for free;
    The update for those who own the Real New Zealand Rotorua scenery for FSX;
    The complete scenery available for purchase via SimMarket.

Despite my previous post, the update for existing owners and the freeware version are totally separate. Please download the update from my site. The freeware version is only available from AVSIM.
If you wish to buy the scenery, there are two options. You can purchase the FS2004 version from the Godzone Store for NZ$15, and download the upgrade, or you can purchase the FSX version from SimMarket for EUR9.00.

Here are the download links:

The AVSIM free Demoware version;
The update for Real NZ Rotorua FS2004 owners;
The SimMarket link to purchase the full FSX version will be available shortly.

I've released the free version to complement the upcoming Mount Tarawera scenery from Timmo. It includes the Volcanic Air Safaris floatplane base (and helipad) but if you want Rotorua Regional Airport you'll need to come up with the 15 bucks:) That's about a trip to McDonalds.

For details, screenshots etc visit the Real New Zealand Rotorua for FSX webpage.

Good idea!
Presumably someone having looked at the demo ware can then get the payware and simply overwrite?

Yes, they'd need to download the full 70MB, but it would install straight over the top.

That's what comes from copy/paste from the web. Hare and Haere are pretty much used interchangeably on the sites I used to research Rotorua, but my online dictionary says Haere, so I'll go with that.

Oh ok... well, if it counts for anything, I've never seen it written without the (first) 'e'. winkyy.gif
