Craig, maybe have another look at Trolly's post. Anyway, I've quoted a snippet here. winkyy.gif

Make sure you are at NZAA by 6pm tonight, where ATC will guide you out over the Tasman.

I was under the impression that we weren't provided en-route control as such, rather that while cruising along members could have a bit of a chat, and then we'll have ATC closer to the destination/s. So, as far as I know, there will not be a controller on YBBN FIR, but one on Brisbane Approach, and the approaches to other islands along the way (and departure from AKL). winkyy.gif

i'll be calling the controller on decent and on climb / departure. If i'm not calling the right place, maybe you guys should invest in a current En Route Supplement Australia & VTC so u know whats going on.

We've planned not to have full control so that people have time to chit-chat, and thats always pretty fun. thumbup1.gif

Feel free to contact a controller - its up to them whether you recieve service or not, and I'm sure they can point you in the right direction if you are talking to the wrong person. winkyy.gif

Again to confirm.
I only need temaspeak and FS9?
How do I connect to ATC etc?
Also when I connect I should be in a default a/c then change to my PMDG 737NG correct?
I will probably do NZAA to Norfolk Island

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

1. =Yes
2. You don't have to do anything extra. Just connect as usual to the multiplayer server. winkyy.gif
3. Trolly will have to answer this for you, I'm not so sure about it...

Yes.

When you wrote 'easy, i'll go un atc's' I thought it was a spelling mistake and you meant that you would go 'on atc's' ie, being your own air traffic controller, which I didn't really understand but just wanted to leave you to it. I now see you meant the PMQ MBZ. However, I don't see what the problem is.. even if you arrive at your own destination late, there won't be any traffic around to collide with and seeing as its a MBZ area, there wouldn't be a controller anyway...

Yeah- Alex has pretty much summarised it there winkyy.gif (although Matt has called in some extra contollers, so we won't be compleatly lost)

Teamspeak doesn't appear to be working, can u check on this?
Matt Stansfield's got sound probs, so we may not have Oceanic control.
I can't connect FSNavigator to the FSHost server,
I don't think it will work for u either, which means we'll be using procedural control only at airports which will be fun tongue.gif
If ur on skype, can u please call me?
Are we providing any control at Norfolk and Lord Howe Islands, since they're MBZ's?

Thanks,
Matthew

Are we just having a fly tonight, or are we doing this to real-life standards?

Andrew, its your event, we'll do whatever you decide.
I didn't realise Lord Howe and Norfolk were MBZ's.
Do u still want Tower Control at these airports for the fun of it?

I'm happy to do this to Real life standards if u like, or just for the fun of it, your decision.

As Matthew says, I've got a slightly major hardware problem at this stage, in that my microphone isn't working.

I can get it working occasionally, but then it just cuts out, and stops. So, at this stage, things are looking doubtful, but I'll continue to work on it.

And no, I can't get the TS server working either unsure.gif

I don't wanna sound like a wet blanket but this TTMP has taken the slippery slope down hill and is showing no signs of stopping so why not just keep the private MP server and run the TS off of the normal inspire TS server for MP it beats delaying our ETD Im down by half an hour now cos Im having to haul ass to NZAA to make the 0700Z ETD.

Well the server is up and running, weather is wet smile.gif So fit's in with the wet blanket theory smile.gif Should of brought it in when I did my walk around. I'm playing chicken at all the airports, hauling my butt, and moonshine in a 767, so yeah, emergency crews will be required smile.gif

Just a light hearted fly really, although simmers with different levels of skill may prefer different levels of realisum.

It would be good to have tower controllers for all airports still- Norfolk Island is the only MBZ along the way.

It seems that Robins TS channel isn't working, so we can use Inspire in the mean time- no password needed there.
