Impounded(or Held) at US Customs(Homeland Security) impouded goods yard at what ever port it is leaving from until the owner can convince them that he or she is not going to wage war on any country with their new spitfire(or until they can come up with state dept releases / paper work and go through all of the fine print 10 time over etc).Last edited by twinstarda42 on Tue Feb 19, 2008 5:58 am, edited 1 time in total.

Wage war? THE THING DOESN'T HAVE ANY GUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Called sarchasm, Homeland security seem to be overly silly in regards to warbird aircraft leaving the US - that to any lay person can obviously see has no way of being used in an agressive(drop bombs or shoot at anything due lack of guns hardpoints etc) manner. that is unless the pilot has lost the plot and taken up becoming a kamikaze.
