I will also get lots of 737-300's considering they are my favourite a/c
But for now I have got a second base and am in competition with my friend who is also on AM and strategically listened to me and based himself where I did and decided to copy my routes with a slightly larger aircraft. But I am now in Abu Dhabi as well!
We're on opposite sides of the world, and in the same alliance (assuming you want to join- entry will be a bit harder this round) so I doubt we'll compete with each other

Au contraire, I started in NZ again this round and I'm currently 9th biggest in Australasia with bases in CHC, WLG, PMR, ZQN and ADL. Just ordered a bunch of ATRs to do expansion from Adelaide as well.
So starting in NZ and being successful is not impossible, it's just harder than in Oz and way harder than in other continents.

Haha yeah it's been hard enough for me anyway because of the limited time I can spend on it.

Yer I find that doing it properly would take up a lot of time - time I don't have.
But I've done okay and I should do okay next round.
Also i agree with Kelburn - it can get a bit boring at times.
I usually solve this with a quick break for a day or two.

I'm 4th in Australasia by quite a bit (on both sides).
Unfortunately I made two stuff ups which are kind of hampering my growth a bit, but I'm getting there. Slower than I would like but still not too bad.
DOP at this stage is about E250,000 and value is 14 million or so.
I've got the Beech C99 starter plane, plus about 6 DHC3s.
Eventually I'll go for the dash 8 and/or ATR when they come out.
Not sure about the meantime.
Base is in Brisbane (I'd planned for Sydney, but stuffed it up. Then I couldn't be bothered with a reset.)
Cheers
Anthony
Don't get Dash 8's, not really good enough range. Start your next base in SYD, then MEL. Try HS-748E's, then ATR's later on. Afterwards replace your ATR's with Caravelle 10B's (Only after you have 60 or so ATR's), the the Caravelle's with 737-200Advs. Not sure if you'll have enough time though.
