Here's a replacement Rotor texture ... Improves the overall look of the Tail Rotor blur, and Main Rotor overlay blur.

Installation:

Just replace the rotor.bmp file found in the FS9\Aircraft\ABSimulations NH-90 TTH RNZAF\texture folder with the one from this rar archive.

I took the NH-90 for a run last night from Taku Lodge to Juneau in Alaska and it was an interesting experience.

I found the controls i bit heavy for my liking but other than that it performed very well.

Thanks to Menemeth for a much improved alpha on the rotor.bmp ,..I have redone the transparent blades and disks to fix the problem of the blades sticking out like dogs balls, also renaming the rotor.bmp to "NH90_Texture_R.bmp" ,.. keep it in sync with the naming of the other textures. I will do a thourough re-check of the model and will send a new package to the airforce ,replacing the old one. I can do a zip file containing the new models and the new rotor texture for anyone who wants it. Menemeth,..can you possibly stick it up on the site where you have the rotor texture and then we could just create a new thread here on NZFF where people can download the new bits ?..

Dude,..cant believe that slipped through !. It was brought to attention shortly before release that the main blades were turning the wrong way,..so i fixed that ,..then altered the animation direction in the aircraft.cfg which because both main and tail rotors were affected then reversed the tail rotor animations as well,..which didnt occur to me at the time !. I have fixed that and will see about putting up a fix on the rnzaf site.

Cheers for bringing that to my attention mate clapping.gif

Sorry, that we don´t found this while betatesting. Both rotors turning wrong, but Adrian will make many FS freaks happy with his release. Give him time for some fixes now. winkyy.gif

Here's a Complete Enhancement Package Which Includes The Following:

1) Heat Haze effect (visible only when on the ground with engines running).

2) Turbine Smoke Effect (visible when Eng1 Torque is above 64%).

3) ShockWave Simulations (A2A Simulations) 3D Redux Lights v1.1 (you must have the 3D Redux lights v1.1 installed to see the light effects).

4) Rob Barendregt's VTOL v2.2 for helicopter (added in this packet).

NOTE: Read the README.txt for more info!
