Actually, competition failures are most likely to qualify for airing here.
Nobody would guess the time and trouble it took me to set up all my Sabres on the apron (for my 3rd favourite pic) and get a second wing to overfly and break right as they came into frame.
The picture could've been shopped in 5 minutes, and everybody assumed it was so. Ho hum.Last edited by Charl on Mon Dec 22, 2008 9:53 am, edited 1 time in total.

I d be very scared to answer that question , the screen shot happens to be a freeware , the Andover ... just one of those flukey shots

That's a beauty all right ... but that fence .... arrrrgh! Time to get the virtual bulldozer out... unless it's a priceless work of art/sculpture ... "Kiwi Homage to the Chainsaw"

Nice one, Timmo ... *very* nice! Is that an airfield on top of that mountain? If so, where is it? Shang-ri-la?

Is this FSX and if it is what Scenery are you using??
Looks like Robin's Auckland Scenery

Though Robin's AKL scenery was created for FS2004, it works pretty well in FSX (you just need to add a couple of tiny exclude BGL files). There's the odd clash with NZ Topo roads, but it all looks pretty good. I'm not sure whether a revised AKL is that high on Rob's FSX list, so it's still worth getting - as you may end up running it for a fair while.
As with all of Rob's sceneries - if you're even half thinking of buying any - just do it! You won't regret it! I appear to have collected the whole set now - but I ran out of money to get the high-res mesh, so I'm still missing a bit of NZ eye-candy!
