Well that will depend on the windI would imagine they would prefer 03/21 due to the position of the main apron and access to the base.

A pdf download - ground display map has been added to the RNZAF open day website
the display line looks to run down 03/21 with the car park & warbird generally located the area of the other runways.

I've been seeing lots of light aircraft out and about practicing today- the Harvards have been out in formations from Ardmore, and I saw the Red Checkers fly over East Auckland twice in a tight V shape twice this arvo. Looking forward to Saturday heaps- the weather forceast even looks good: 23 degrees high with a scattered cloud base. Perfect for photography!

No, only engine. RR bio and GE90. Today ive seen P3, after 2 Red Checkers(RC), C130 after parachute team, few helicopters flights, then 2 Orions+757+C130 and C17. After were 6 RC and something like Cessna+planer

That was something else! I was watching from Akarana on Tamaki drive, looking at them doing some massive loops by Devonport
