Thanks,

But both you guys need FSX.

Probably for selfish reasons but I am sure a few of us could get together and purchse a copy for each of you.
Aye Guys!

Thanks for the offer, Spongebob....a new computer would be a better idea, though..lol.

Tried FSX when it first came out. Assume a lot of issues have been addressed by now, but this means I'd have to load alll the tweaks, alll the scenery addons, alll the aircraft, etc. Totally happy with FS9 because of its smooth-running on my machine.

Cheers,

Goff

I think that it is fantastic that such quality scenery's are still being produced for FS9 by yourself Goff and also Snowman. I'm looking forward to downloading NZHS and checking out the Hawkes Bay! cool.gif

Heh heh,........... tried FSX when it first hit the streets,................ didnt think much of it to be honest.
Been collecting and purchasing addons for FS9 since November 2003. Ive got so much payware addon stuff that wont work in FSX, and im not ready to give it all up.
Ive customised the living daylights out of FS9, and in some areas, i think it looks better than FSX..........
BUT,............... ( yep, theres always a but),............. i think FSX will come for me this year. I am building a new machine shortly, so FSX will come for that, but i will continue to do most of my flying in FS9,....... and i will build sceneries for BOTH.

Yeah...it was the same for me and FS2002 - didn't want to give it up. FS9 was crappy on previous system....but then da new puter arrived - and, wow, FS9 was brilliant. It might happen that way with FSX, but I'd rather miss FSX as it stands now and wait to see what develops next year.

By then, computers will be faster and graphic cards more powerful, (we hope). Then I can begin collecting tweaks, sceneries, aircraft as they become available.

I believe someone volunteered to change this Hastings scenery to make it run on FSX, so watch out for that, guys.

Cheers,
